Eagle thinclads do well at District Meet, relay teams and more headed to regionals

Riding for MS.... Each year, the National MS Society puts together a bike ride aimed at raising money for research, keeping with the mission of eradicating Multiple Sclerosis from the face of the planet. This year, Jerrod Jones, formerly of Van Horn and son of John and Vicky Jones, will be riding from Houston to Austin in the BP MS150 and it will be a very special occasion because he will be riding in the name of one of his longtime friends, Mike Ward, and his cousin, Robin Gates, both of whom are stricken with this disease.
The bike route is 180 miles and will be a physical trial, but it is much more important than a simple exercise of heart health and lung capacity. The impact of this disease has hit very close to home in Jerrod’s group of family, friends and hometown and it’s imperative that we do something to fund the ongoing research effort for a cure.
Bottom Line: We need your support for this ride. Any donation that you would be willing to contribute would greatly benefit the cause - no matter how small. On the internet, the MS Society has made it so easy to give:
