Nature Conservancy to hold open weekend

Generous Golfer! A golf tournament and fundraiser for Our Lady of San Juan Catholic Church was held at Hogan Park Golf Course in Midland on June 12th. The event was successful and came with a wonderful surprise on hole 13. Van Horn native Ruben Mendez, Jr. made a 155 yard hole-in-one winning a $5,000 prize. Mendez, who now resides in Odessa, generously split his winnings between his 3 teammates and the church. Congratulations Ruben!
