Friday's Internet Edition, July 04, 2008. Blood Drive a success.... 62 units! That’s right - Sixty-two units of blood were collected at the Blood Drive on Friday, March 4, 2005 at the high school Auditorium. The Blood Drive was co-sponsored by the Van Horn High School Student Council and El Paso Electric Company. In past Blood Drives in Van Horn, only 30-35 units of blood were collected. Needless to say, this year the Blood Drive exceeded our expectations. Thanks to the community members who took time to donate! Thanks to others of you who attempted to donate.
